Calling all lasagna lovers!!! Lasagna is one of my all-time favorite dishes. I'm trying something new and making lasagna al forno. This is made with a rich meat ragu, bechemel sauce and cheese. I'm trying a vegetable version as well, delish! This lasagna is made with layers of home made meat ragu (or veggies) that simmers for hours to intensify those flavors. Each layer will have the lucious bechemel sauce. Then the lasagna is topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. It’s all baked until melty deliciousness. It is so satisfying and the value on this meal is excellent because a little goes a long way. You can even have some now and freeze the rest! You just can’t beat that these days. The large version served our family of four (two adults and two children) four meals. What a deal!
Meat Lasagna - Beef and pork ragu, bechamel sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
Vegetable Lasagna - Leeks, asparagus, edamame, peas, mint, bechamel sauce, white cheddar, parmesan, pesto.
